The menu bar app runs on macOS. The CLI runs on macOS, Linux and Windows.

The CLI

Switch Claude, Codex, Kimi, Gemini and Copilot logins, and connect API keys to 13 coding tools. One self-contained binary. The install scripts need no runtime, and the npm package runs the same binary through a small Node shim.

curl -fsSL https://yoink.codes/install.sh | bash

Downloads the binary for your OS and architecture from the latest GitHub release, verifies its SHA-256 checksum when the release ships one and installs it to /usr/local/bin or ~/.local/bin.

Requirements: Apple Silicon and Intel. The menu bar app needs macOS 12 or later.

Then check that it is on your PATH:

yoink version

Releases and checksums

Every CLI release on GitHub ships its archives with a checksums.txt of SHA-256 sums. Both install scripts verify the archive against it when present, and the Windows script refuses to install without a match.

The menu bar app for your Claude Code accounts and API-key providers. Drag it to Applications and it lives in the menu bar.

What the menu bar app does

Switch Claude Code accounts from the menu bar.: Pick a profile from the menu bar. If Claude Code is running, the app asks before it switches.
Save or add a login.: Save the account you are signed in with as a named profile, or sign in to a new one from the built-in terminal.
Connect a provider.: The wizard walks you from a preset or any compatible API, to your key, to the models, to a checklist of coding tools to connect.
Stay out of the way.: Toggle the panel from anywhere with a global shortcut, start it when you log in, and check for updates from the tray menu and install them in place.
